TLC Client Secures Major Publishing Deals

TLC is delighted to announce that Tina Seskis, whose novels One Step Too Far and A Serpentine Affair were assessed by TLC, has recently secured major publishing deals with both HarperCollins in the US and Penguin in the UK. Rights were bought at auction from Jon Elek at United Agents following the Frankfurt Book Fair. The deals follow Tina’s success with publishing the titles under her own imprint, Kirk Parolles, reaching the #1 bestselling spot for her debut on Amazon and securing stock in WH Smith’s airport and railway station outlets – including Euston, the location she chose as the starting point for her first novel.

‘A year after writing my novel and having had no response from agents I had to decide whether to continue in my quest to get published, or just consign it to posterity. A friend suggested a manuscript assessment from The Literary Consultancy.  Without doubt this was the most important financial investment I made.  Not only did I get candid, insightful and actionable editorial advice, but TLC also picked it out as a manuscript to pitch directly to agents – and my road to publication began. I cannot thank them enough.’ – Tina Seskis

TLC Director Rebecca Swift said:

‘Tina is a very modern author, driven, full of initiative and it’s been a pleasure witnessing the way in which she has found such creative ways of making her writing in to a success. We congratulate her and are proud to have given her work the thumbs up at an earlier stage.’
